TRANSFER FROM AIRPORT
Let us collect you or ask about car hire - transfer time from the airport to the resort is 45 minutes.

SHOPPING
As this Island has duty free status, there are bargains to be found, however not in quantities found on the more developed Canary Islands.

EATING OUT

Food and drink to suit every taste with local fish and tapas a speciality.

AFTER DARK

Evenings are spent with a meal and a bottle of wine in a local restaurant, a drink or two in a nearby bar or a gentle stroll along the beach. The town does have a couple of discos and bars to suit every taste.

BANKING FACILITIES

The unit of currency is the Euro. Banks are usually open between Monday and Friday, 09.00 - 14.00. Take your passport to cash Travellers Cheques and Eurocheques.
Cashpoint dispensers are available at most major banks which can be accessed with credit card and pin numbers. Credit cards are accepted in garages, shops and larger restaurants.

SECURITY
Have a safety deposit box for valuables, extra cash, passports, tickets, etc. A rental fee and deposit will have to be paid, deposit is refunded on return of key.

CHEMIST

Chemists can be identified by a large green cross. In Corraiejo the chemist is in the main High Street.

INSECTS
As in most warm climates insects may be a problem. Buy a spray or ask in Reception.

GETTING AROUND

Car hire. Ask for details. It is definitely worth hiring a car - if only for a few days.

LOCAL TAXIS

Taxis can be flagged down almost anywhere if you are not at a taxi rank. The green light means that it is for hire.

BUS SERVICE

A basic service with the resort, as well as to other destinations.
